About Baseball United
Baseball United is a professional baseball league primarily focused on the Middle East and South Asia region.
Its inaugural season took place from November 14 to December 14, 2025, at Baseball United Ballpark in Dubai, marking a historic milestone as the first professional baseball league in the Middle East.
About Munenori Kawasaki
Born in 1981 in Kagoshima Prefecture, Munenori Kawasaki rose to prominence as a shortstop for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks (now the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks). In 2012, he moved to Major League Baseball, joining the Seattle Mariners.
After returning to SoftBank, he continued his career internationally with the Wei Chuan Dragons in Taiwan’s professional league.
Since 2020, he has been playing for the Tochigi Golden Braves in Japan’s independent league while also serving as a Technical Advisor.
In Baseball United, Kawasaki played as a member of the Mid East Falcons. The team claimed the championship in the Middle East’s first professional baseball league, and thanks to his outstanding performance throughout the series, Kawasaki was awarded the league’s inaugural MVP title.
